There are more than 40 plus ethnic groups living in Sabah. They have their own unique cultures and ways of life. Where some of these be similar to each other, but the core of each culture is uniquely by its own.
The traditional costumes of the various tribes are very colourful. The basic colours are black and red, with cleverly arranged patterns these two basic colours are made to produce very very attractive designs.
The accessories are intriguely woven beads, silver wares, head dress and hats made of palm tree barks' skin.
The musical instruments are all made of natural materials like bamboo,dried guords which produce beautiful music in the hands of skilled players.
